Why anyone would bother stealing a Dual 200watt CD player I will never know, but they did. They knew what they were doing, there was no dammage to my counsel except the little aftermarket surround that helps the head unit blend in. They broke that.
Gaaaa!!! Whatever, I put my stock radio (yes radio, not casset player, radio), back in tonight. I actually did it in the parking lot of my fiance's work (without any tools) as I waited for her to get off because I didnt want to sit in silence.
Funny, the radio sounds better on the stock unit..... Demon

Wow that is simply amazing. What are they going to do with a dual? What were you doing with a dual? LOL. Of course I understand that the stock radio sounds better then the dual because anything sounds better then dual.

CD player > no CD player anyday, no matter what brand.
Im not huge into audio, but now that I realize how craptastic the sound was out of that thing...What is a DECENTLY priced deck that is sill good quality? I will never run subs, so an amp isnt even in the picture. The most it will power is a pair of 6x9's in the rear and stock-sized (5.5?) in the front.

Ive heard the brands, jsut wondering what people have had expierience with and such....wouldnt hurt if I could find one w/red+silver/black theme again, I hate all the blue and green displays I see.
What am I looking at price wise? and would it make any sense to run an amp w/out subs? Cuz if the head unit puts out 50 (or whatever) watts to eatch channel.....and the the speakers are supposed to take 220w (peak I know)......I have no idea. I know jack about audio.

you can run an amp to the speakers if they are able to handle the power. I have had a sony and a pioneer and i would have to say I liked my sony better but it was more expensive then the pioneer. And usually sony sticks with the red screen. I know it is harder to find red screens.
